Build career capital that AI can’t commoditize

AI isn’t just changing work. It’s changing what the market rewards.

The expertise that built your career may no longer be enough to protect it. The professionals who thrive over the next decade won’t simply learn AI, they’ll build career capital that compounds faster than technology can commoditize it.

One audience across every curriculum: professionals navigating the AI transition

AI is rewriting the foundation of the corporate labor market, and ALE Stack is the rocket booster on your back.

AI won’t replace you. You will be replaced by a professional who uses AI to augment their career capital.

What this is

An operating system, not a newsletter

That’s what ALE Stack helps you do. This isn’t another newsletter about AI trends or productivity hacks. It’s a complete operating system for professionals navigating the AI transition, you build the assets that raise your market value, negotiate from strength, and close the gap between the number on your screen and the number you keep.

Who this is for

Written for the questions you’re already asking

This publication is for professionals navigating the AI transition, asking questions like:

01How do I stay valuable as AI reshapes my profession?
02How do I turn decades of experience into an advantage instead of a liability?
03How do I maximize the value of my compensation, not just my salary?
04How do I build enough leverage to eventually leave corporate on my own terms?
05How do I make better career decisions when technology is changing faster than organizations can adapt?

If those questions resonate, you’re in the right place.

The 8 forms of career capital

Career capital isn’t one skill. It’s a portfolio.

Each curriculum inside ALE Stack builds one form, and each is measured by who you become at the end of it, not what you’ve read.

01 Form 01 · Expertise. The AI-Augmented ExpertBecome the Professional AI Makes More Valuable Most professionals use AI as a better search engine, and that changes very little. Here you integrate AI into how you think, decide, and produce, so twenty years of judgment compounds instead of depreciating. 02 Form 02 · Leverage. The System BuilderBuild Systems That Multiply Your Impact Titles create authority; systems create leverage. You stop waiting for the promotion and start producing results larger than your job description, combining systems thinking with AI to skip rungs instead of climbing them one at a time. 03 Form 03 · Time. The Capacity SystemExpand Capacity Without Working Longer Time doesn’t compound; capacity does. You redesign how you work: protect the hours where your judgment earns its premium, and route repetitive execution to AI and systems. 04 Form 04 · Ownership. The Total Comp PlaybookCapture More of the Wealth You’re Already Earning Salary is one component of compensation. Equity, bonuses, RSUs, options, deferred compensation, and executive benefits often represent the majority of long-term wealth, and you learn to read those plans the way the people who wrote them do.Full arc for public-company employees, full arc for pre-IPO 05 Form 05 · Wealth. The AI-Augmented InvestorDirect the Position Your Equity Becomes The Ownership curriculum captures the equity; this one manages what it becomes, the largest single-stock position of your life. You turn the passive holder into the active director of a personal investment management system: AI does the analyst-hours, structure does the enforcing, and every decision is finally yours. 06 Form 06 · Independence. The Solo FounderBuild the Option to Leave Corporate on Your Terms The ultimate form of career capital is optionality. You learn to exit a public company cleanly, set up what comes next correctly, entity, exit strategy, protections, and run it as an AI orchestrator, not an operator: directing AI to do the work that used to take a first round of hires. 07 Form 07 · The Synthesis. The Personal Balance SheetRead Your Own Life Like an Analyst Reads a Company Six curricula grow your assets. This one makes sure they land as equity: your career, compensation, and decisions consolidated onto one personal balance sheet. Asset = Liability + Equity, the equation the stack is named for.
08 Form 08 · Relationships. The Relationship SystemTrust as Architecture, Not ChemistryStandalone module A standalone Relationship System module rounds out the stack. You replace ad-hoc networking with a designed relationship system: one that runs on cadence instead of memory, and compounds instead of decaying.

Your Personal Balance Sheet

Asset = Liability + Equity

Six curricula grow your assets. This one makes sure they land as equity: you read your own life the way an analyst reads a company. Asset = Liability + Equity, the equation the stack is named for. Because a career isn’t measured by promotions; it’s measured by the balance sheet those promotions create.

Where to begin

Enter where your career is right now

Start here

Not sure where to begin? Most readers start with The Total Comp Playbook, the fastest path from reading to recovered dollars.

And you don’t have to take a curriculum whole. Every module is built to be read on its own, so enter where your career is right now: a new offer, a blackout window, an acquisition rumor, a promotion cycle, an exit you’re quietly planning. Take what applies today. The rest is there when your career gets there, and because everything sits on one framework, each module you take connects to the next one you’ll need.

The framework that connects everything

Every curriculum begins where another profession typically stops

Most career advice comes from one discipline. Career coaches talk about promotions. Compensation specialists explain pay plans. CPAs focus on taxes. Financial advisors manage portfolios. Entrepreneurs teach business building.

Real careers don’t work that way, every major career decision crosses multiple disciplines. ALE Stack connects them into one integrated framework: you see how executive compensation affects taxes, how taxes affect investing, how investing affects career choices, and how AI changes each of those decisions.

What makes this different

Not a library of how-to content, the picture that connects it

This isn’t a library of how-to content. AI can already explain how to file a tax return, draft a trust, or place a trade, and your attorney, CPA, financial planner, or compensation consultant handles the execution.

The missing piece is how all of those decisions fit together. What you gain here is the full picture: the insider’s view of how comp plans, deals, and exits are actually built, and what they cost you when you can’t read them. I’ve spent three decades on that inside, designing the comp plans, advising the wealth, holding the equity. That’s the picture search engines, and specialists working in isolation, can’t provide.

Why I built this

I’ve sat in every seat this curriculum is written for, on both sides of the table

Held the equity, pre-IPO, acquisition, public ladder, own ventures
Managed the wealth, high-income, high-net-worth clients
Designed the plans, executive comp, from the company side
CPA, businesses built while still employed
Process and systems engineer, the AI fluency this stack teaches

Over three decades, I’ve sat in every seat this curriculum is written for, on both sides of the table.

I’ve held the equity: through a pre-IPO company that spent years as what the Pre-IPO arc calls a zombie, through a startup that ended the other way, an acquisition and a real liquidity event, up the public-company ladder, and in ventures of my own. I’ve managed the wealth: advising high-income, high-net-worth clients. I’ve designed the plans: building executive compensation from the company side, where you learn precisely what these plans are built to do, and where they quietly cost the employee money. As a CPA, I’ve coached high-income technology professionals through building businesses while still employed, entity setup, tax structure, and the exit designed from day one: the exact transition The Solo Founder maps. And as a process and systems engineer, I found the gold mine this stack teaches: AI fluency. The proof is in your hands, every curriculum, module, and diagnostic in ALE Stack was designed and built by one person orchestrating AI. The work that used to take a content team, a developer, and a designer now fits on one desk. Mine.

Each of those professions understood one piece of the puzzle. Almost none understood how the pieces connected, and that’s where the expensive mistakes happen. Employees misunderstand equity. Executives underestimate compensation design. Entrepreneurs overlook tax strategy. Professionals optimize one decision while quietly damaging another.

My professional designations span investments, tax, financial planning, wealth management, and executive compensation, but the credentials that matter here are the seats I’ve sat in. I built ALE Stack so you don’t have to pay the tuition I paid to see the whole board.
